2013 Psychiatric Service Codes: The Journey Through RUC & CPT

This webinar, the first in a series of three on the new CPT Codes effective in January 2013, will give the background and explanation of the RUC (RVS Update Committee) process, including timeline, committee recommendations and editorial process, and approval of the new codes.

Session Objectives:
Upon completion of this presentation, the participant will be able to:
1. Summarize the process for revision and development of new psychiatric CPT billing codes.
2. Describe APNA’s role in the RUC.

 

Continuing Nursing Education:
0.75 contact hours. *In order to receive contact hours, you must: Listen to the entire session, complete an evaluation, and earn a passing score on the post test before the expiration date. You will have 5 tries to correctly answer the questions on the post test. Once you have passed and completed an evaluation, the certificate will be generated online, available for you to print immediately. We cannot award credit unless all steps are completed.
