Upon completion of this presentation, the participant will be able to:
1. Discuss key components of evaluating psychiatric emergency situations.
2. Review components of a differential diagnosis of medical and psychiatric disorders associated with psychiatric emergencies.
3. Describe pharmacological interventions for acute psychosis, major depression.
