3033:  Internet-Based Partnerships in Recovery: The Time Has Come!
eCare is an Internet-based care management and self management program for patients with recurrent or chronic depression integrated with usual specialty mental health care. It partners nurses with patients and families and the treatment team to manage depression. We will describe the program and report the findings of the randomized clinical trial.

Session Objectives
Upon completion of this presentation, the participant will be able to:
1. Identify three components of the patient’s eCare experience and three components of the nurse’s eCare experience.
2. Identify two ways the content of the psycho-education modules promotes depression recovery.
3. Describe two outcomes of the eCare program evaluation related to safety, quality care, costs, and access.

Continuing Nursing Education
0.75 contact hours. * In order to receive contact hours, you must:  Listen to the entire session, complete an evaluation, and earn a passing score on the post test before the expiration date. You will have 5 tries to correctly answer the questions on the post test.  Once you have passed and completed an evaluation, the certificate will be generated online, available for you to print immediately. We cannot award credit unless all steps are completed.
