Session Objectives
Upon completion of this presentation, the participant will be able to:
1. Identify predictors of improved adherence to treatment for people with schizophrenia or bipolar disease.
2. Discuss research related to improving medication adherence for people with schizophrenia or bipolar disease.
3. Compare benefits of the medical model approach to LEAP for improving treatment acceptance and and adherence.
4. Demonstrate use of LEAP approach.
